Frequently Asked Questions
- How long will the product last?
The image plates are made of stainless steel and should last forever, along with the rubber stamper and scraper. Also, you only use a very small amount of the special nail polish each time for the image only, so the polish will last a long time too.
- Can I use any nail polish to make designs on the image plates?
Some fingernail polishes work just fine, especially an older bottle (with a thicker consistency). However, we can only guarantee that our special nail polishes will work every time.
- Who can do the stamping nail art?
This stamping technique is so simple that anyone is able to make nails look professionally done. People of all ages can do it!
Our kits allow you to be as creative as you like. Having your own kit allows you the freedom to change colors and designs to coordinate with what you are wearing without having to go to a salon, saving you money and time.
These kits can be used for decorating fingernails, toenails, sunglasses, cell phones, gift boxes, books, etc.! Just use your imagination!
- How long does the design last?
With our special top coat applied over the design, it can last up to 2-3 weeks.
- When should I use the top coat?
After you apply the design, put one layer of top coat (clear coat) over the design. It is very important to put only one layer, because more then one layer makes the design smeared.
- How do I clean the stamper?
The first time you use your stamper buff it 10 times with a nail file to take shine of and clean it with nail polish remover.
- How do I clean the discs and scraper?
Use a non-oily, non-acetone polish remover and cotton pads/balls.
- Can I use your products in my nail salon?
Yes you can!! The nail designs are as good as the air-brushed ones and it takes less time to do. Your customers will love it.
Tips
* Our special nail polish is only for designs, not for a base coat, because it is four times thicker than regular nail polish and will not dry directly on the nail.
* You can create pastel colors by mixing any color with the white nail polish.
* Apply a base coat to the nail and make sure it is dry before applying the stamp.
* After applying the special nail polish to image plate, immediately scrape in a firm quick motion away from the plate to make sure you don't pick up any unwanted polish. If you do, just remove it with a cotton swab with polish remover.
*Use the scraper & stamper quickly because the nail polish dries very fast.
* Immediately after picking up the image, press the stamp starting on the side away from you and roll it firmly toward you.
* Wait until stamped image is dry before applying the clear coat on the design.
* Some nail polishes look better on top of color base coats, like silver and gold looks better on black or red base coat.
* Before applying nail art, make sure you have not used lotion, or eaten anything oily. Wash hands or wipe nails lightly with nail polish remover.
* Make sure the polish remover is completely dry on the stamp, blade, and plate before applying polish.
* Select the design on the design plate that fits the size of your nail, or you can pick and choose a portion of a nail art design by only applying the special nail polish to the desired portion, or wipe off a portion of the design on the rubber stamper after you have picked it up.
* Use non-acetone polish remover to clean rubber stamp, blade, and image plate before each application. |
